Before Biber project that is by itself a statement of both his musicanship and songwriting talents, Rastko had a rich music career already. After years of live performing with his father, and graduating classical guitar at Belgrade music academy, Rastko was both performing as a touring and studio musician with well known Yugoslavian artists, and working as a songwriter and producer with his friends from schooldays, Bojan Vasic and Milorad Kocic. Their songs were recorded by many artists in his homeland, but trio of friends also ended working on their own musical concept that was genesis of Biber album.

Rastko is true multi-instrumentalist, playing all kinds of string instruments, and some of them are really rare, dating from different historical periods.
He was also working on his own compositions for classical guitar, and performed them on numerous occasions, most notable in „Sava Centar“, „Kolarac“ University Concert Hall, and at „Guitar Art Festival“ in Belgrade.
Both Rastko and Damian were and still are members of a „Zapis“, their fathers music group that is performing and recording traditional music of Balkans. In making of Biber album, Rastko has taken different approach by mixing traditional ethno elements with modern music forms.

When not working on music, Rastko can be found sitting in café with Goran Simpraga, drinking beer and doing absolutely nothing
